CREATIVE CURRICULUM!

Learning at Small World is designed to be fun and challenging.  Our curriculum covers all areas of a child's development, including each child's individual needs.  Through organized and carefully planned play activities, children are encouraged to initiate their own activity, to problem solve, to question, and most important to be his or her creative self.

INFANT CENTER

Infants are taught through play activities, large and small motor skills, understanding and language.  We love seeing them learn new things and will share them with you the parent through our daily conversations and pictures.

LEARNING CENTER

The children at the learning center are also learning everyday through play.  But we like to step it up a little.  They are also being taught to identify the alphabet and the sounds each letter makes, their number, colors and shapes.  Every child's name is in writing throughout the classroom on mats and tables, etc.  They are taught to recognize their own name and before kindergarten to spell and write it. They have daily circle times, themed lessons and art projects.
